Who We Are

Highland Food Resources is committed to providing CCFP participants with three healthy meals a day. We currently serve over 130 child care facilities located in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Charlotte, De Soto, Hillsborough, and Manatee counties. The goal of this invaluable program is to ensure that nutritious meals and snacks are served daily, and that healthy eating habits are taught in child care settings. Habits that can provide invaluable benefits that will last a lifetime.

Our Vision

To provide access to nutritious meals to as many children as possible, while in compliance with USDA and FDOH oversight responsibilities. To become an advocate in the promotion of program outreach.

What We Do

Highland Food Resources is contracted with the Florida Department of Health as a sponsor for the USDA Child Care Food Program. The Florida Department of Health is the entity responsible for CCFP oversight in the State. We sponsor licensed child care facilities in several counties in Florida. The goal of this valuable program is to ensure that nutritious meals and snacks are served in eligible facilities, and that good eating habits are taught in child care settings.
